We are at the point that we have create our blog and is in its original form (in next post will talk about how we can change theme and add a better one) Now i will explain what is code robots.txt that I mentioned above.
Well This code prohibits google to read our posts.
This means that if you write our own articles not we need because our articles are not copied. But if we built a news blog for instance then surely our articles will be copied and google is not ever going to put us in good position in the serps.

Add custom robots.txt in blogger
first we go to blogger dashboard we select the blog that we want to apply the code then click on template - edit html and with control-f we find this small code <head> and immediately below put the below code
<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "archive"'><meta content='noindex,follow' name='robots'/></b:if><b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "index"'><b:if cond='data:blog.url != data:blog.homepageUrl'><meta content='noindex,follow' name='robots'/></b:if></b:if>
save template and wait a few days for google to check your blog.
